Program:

Are you using LinkedIn, Twitter or Instagram today? Really using it to help with your information governance needs?

How can you leverage it further for education, career development and business communications?

This workshop will cover 2 areas:

  • Introduce you to some major uses and benefits of social media around #InfoGov
  • Then a Hands-On, creating and initially using your new social media accounts, if you don't already have LinkedIn, Twitter etc.

Your Preparation:

  • Bring your device - smartphone, tablet or laptop
  • If you already have an account on twitter etc, make sure you know your account id and password and have loaded the relevant social media service apps (for the accounts/services you use) from your app store (Apple iOS Appstore or Android Google Play store).

Speaker:

Richard Hogg, CITP, ERMp, is a Global InfoGov Solutions Leader at IBM. With 15+ years experience across RM & ECM, he has consulted in the last 6 years with Fortune 10 global Financial Services, Insurance, Pharma and Telco organizations to assess information governance initiatives and their cost and risk, developing a business case with focused recommendations on quick wins to further the clients objectives, engaging with them on executing an IG Program delivering benefits of reduced costs & risks. Client benefits have covered defensible disposal, ediscovery, records and retention management, privacy, legacy data cleanup and archiving. Richard is a frequent speaker before groups such as AIIM, ARMA, MER, LegalTech, InfoGovCon, Insight, World of Watson & IPBA. He was a Finalist for the 2016 InfoGovCon IG Expert of the Year.

Donations: We will be collecting winter items for disadvantaged families in our community. Please bring new or very gently used gloves, mittens, hats, scarves and socks to donate. Items are needed for all ages.

  • Choice of: Eggplant Parmigiana with Spaghetti, Gnocchi with Marinara Sauce, Cheese Manicotti with Marinara Sauce, Meat Lasagna or Chicken Parmigiana with Linguine
  • Coffee, tea, sodas
  • Cash bar will be available.

Directions: From I-270 North Take Exit 10 – Clopper Road/West Diamond Ave. Move into the left lane on the exit ramp. Turn left onto West Diamond Avenue at the traffic light at the bottom of the ramp. Go about 1/4 mile to a right turn on Muddy Branch Road. Go about 1/2 mile, passing over I-270. Turn left into the Festival Shopping Center. The restaurant is located in the shopping center.
